Pink Octopus

Your family's information is yours.

You're trusting us with your kids' names, schedules and sometimes their health. Here's exactly what we keep, who can see it, and how you stay in control, in plain words.

Our promises

How Pink Octopus gets smarter (without training on your family)

What we keep

WhatWhyHow it's protected
Your texts and photosSo Pink Octopus remembers the conversationEncrypted where they're stored, erased after 90 days
Kids' names, ages, schools, activitiesTo keep your calendar and think aheadPrivate to the adults you add
Health records you add (checkups, vaccines, allergies)So you have them when the school or doctor asksEncrypted, parents only, never in shared calendars or pages
Lists, reminders, notesThat's the job 🐙Private to the adults you add
Website logins you saveOnly to book or order when you say yesEncrypted; the AI never sees your passwords

Who helps us run it

A few trusted companies process your information only to make Pink Octopus work: Sendblue (delivers the texts), Anthropic (the AI that reads and answers your messages), Render (our secure servers), and only if you use them, Google (when you connect your calendar or email), Deepgram (turns voice memos into words) and SerpApi (finds products from a photo). Weather lookups only share your town.

The honest part: Pink Octopus isn't end-to-end encrypted the way a private chat between two people is, because it has to read your message to help with it. Your texts pass through the services above, and they're encrypted when stored. We don't browse family conversations; we'd only look at one if you ask us to fix a problem.

You're in control

Kids

Pink Octopus is for adults 18 and over. Information about children comes from their parent or guardian, who controls it and can delete it at any time. Shareable pages (like a carpool sign-up) show first names only, and only what you ask to put on them.
